Stamped Hospital Bed Panels: Compare Width and Section Layout
Stamped hospital bed panels form the mattress-support platform within a compatible bed frame. Choose the platform width and section arrangement first, then check individual section lengths, sheet thickness, hinge positions and linkage connections. Two panels with the same nominal width are not necessarily interchangeable, and a four-section platform does not by itself define the bed’s adjustment functions.
Four-section and single-crank options
• 840 mm four-section panel, YY-5BP01: listed steel thickness is 0.8 mm. The four section lengths are 750, 230, 320 and 540 mm, each with a listed 32 mm section depth.
• 900 mm four-section panel, YY-4BP01: listed steel thickness is 0.9 mm. Section lengths are 750, 220, 330 and 540 mm, with a listed 32 mm depth. Note the different middle-section dimensions when comparing it with the 840 mm version.
• 840 mm single-crank panel: the specification lists 1170 mm and 750 mm sections, 32 mm depth and 0.9 mm thickness.
• 900 mm single-crank panel: the specification lists 750 mm and 1170 mm sections, 32 mm depth and 0.9 mm thickness. Confirm its exact hole and hinge arrangement against the receiving mechanism.
Check fit before ordering
Supply a bed-platform drawing that identifies each section in its installed position. Mark the inside frame dimensions, hinge centres, fixing holes, linkage attachment points and clearance between moving sections. Confirm whether quoted dimensions refer to the panel itself or the receiving frame. Specify the required material grade explicitly if the existing listing does not identify it.
What to include in a panel inquiry
• Selected width, section layout and complete dimensioned drawing.
• Required sheet thickness, finish, colour and welded or unwelded supply.
• Quantity of complete sets, sample or trial-fit needs and packaging requirements.
