Manual Hospital Bed Crank Systems and Drive Components
Hospital bed crank parts transfer manual input to the receiving screw or linkage mechanism. Match the crank, handle and joint to that mechanism before selecting a replacement or specifying an OEM assembly. The accessory alone does not determine which bed sections move, their adjustment range or the completed bed’s operating load.
Compare the listed crank and connection options
• ABS crank, YY-00038: the current specification lists ABS and iron construction with custom sizes. Confirm the shaft or socket profile and the required protection arrangement.
• Iron crank, YY-00040: listed in iron with custom sizes. Compare crank length, fixing holes, folding clearance and the connection to the screw assembly.
• Stainless-steel crank, YY-00050: request the required material grade and product-specific documentation for any magnetic-property requirement. A stainless-steel description alone does not establish suitability for a particular environment.
• Universal joint and hexagonal steel, YY-00041: specify the hexagonal shaft dimensions, end profiles, working angle, fixing points and overall length.
• Iron handle: identify the handle dimensions and mating shaft separately from a complete crank assembly. Use the product link and drawing as well as the reference number to identify the required component.
Check the drive interface
Provide a dimensioned drawing of the receiving shaft, socket and screw connection. Mark fixing-hole positions, the required movement range and the space available when the handle is operated or folded. Where in-place protection is required, describe how it must work with the existing mechanism and request confirmation of the supplied configuration.
Prepare your order specification
Include the bed model or assembly drawing, selected component, material and finish requirements, quantity and destination. State whether the order needs only a handle or joint, or a more complete assembly; do not assume all mating pieces are included. Ask about sample review and confirm the final drawing, included parts, MOQ and lead time in the quotation.
